ACA Galleries Artist Submission Guidelines

That being said we are inundated with telephone calls, email inquiries and artists’ material that are not appropriate for the type of art we show. To save you (and us) time and energy, please note the following:

Our area of specialty is American Art and American artists (ACA = American Contemporary Artists).

We exhibit traditional art forms such as painting, drawing and sculpture. We do not show photography, installation, video nor new media.

We handle established, mid-career artists that have had solo museum exhibitions and have major books or catalogues written about them that are not self-published.

If you fit the above criteria you may submit your artwork for consideration during the months of June and July. It will take approximately 6-8 weeks to review your submission and any work received after July 31 will not be reviewed.

Please include the following in your submission:

Contact information
Images of your work-slides, photos, printouts- or any format except cd or disk
Resume
Catalogues/books
Self addressed, stamped envelope for the return of the materials

Please do not call the gallery to follow up on your submission, to set up an appointment for a studio visit, or ask us to recommend alternate galleries. We will contact you if we are interested.
